On July 18, 2014 PBN in cooperation with Balti Local Employment Agency in the frame of the project «“Labour Club” – mechanism of unemployment reduction», with the financial support of DVV International Moldova, provided an additional training “Effective communication methods and successful adaptation to a new workplace” for the project beneficiaries.
On July 17, 2014 within the Program “Microenterprises Development”, another group, the sixth, consisting of 18 women – the inhabitants from the towns Balti and Falesti, as well as from Chiscareni and Hijdieni villages – started the training course on enterprise and leadership skills development and effective business planning.
On July 10-11, 2014 Pro-Business Nord in partnership with ODIMM (Organization of Development of the Small and Medium Enterprise Sector of Moldova) within the GEA Program - Gestiunea Eficienta a Afacerii (Effective Business Management), provided in Singerei Business Incubator the practical training “Effective Sales Techniques” for 25 owners and the staff of small and medium business enterprises – administrators and sellers of retail trade enterprises of the town.
On June 26-27, 2014 Pro-Business Nord in partnership with ODIMM (Organization of Development of the Small and Medium Enterprise Sector of Moldova) within the GEA Program - Gestiunea Eficienta a Afacerii (Effective Business Management), provided in Singerei Business Incubator the practical training "Registration as a VAT payer and legislation use in the field" for 26 owners and the staff of small and medium business enterprises – administrators and accountants.
On June 20, 2014 Pro-Business Nord in cooperation with Balti Local Employment Agency began the implementation of the new project “Labour Club” – mechanism of unemployment reduction with the financial support of DVV International Moldova. The purpose of the project is to fortify the professional development skills of the unemployed and to help them get employed.
On June 19, 2014 North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall met with the beneficiaries of “Women Career Development Program”, implemented by PBN. There had also been invited the partners of the project – the representatives of rural mayoralty, non-governmental organizations, ethnic communities, law clinic and Balti Local Employment Agency.
Mrs Marshall talked about her experience of being the first woman elected to statewide executive office in North Carolina and about the status of women in the American society. She became informed of the women’s problems from the Northern part and she was also told about those people who could find a job or got a grant for opening their own business after being trained by PBN.
