On June 19, 2014 North Carolina Secretary of State Elaine Marshall met with the beneficiaries of “Women Career Development Program”, implemented by PBN. There had also been invited the partners of the project – the representatives of rural mayoralty, non-governmental organizations, ethnic communities, law clinic and Balti Local Employment Agency.

Mrs Marshall talked about her experience of being the first woman elected to statewide executive office in North Carolina and about the status of women in the American society. She became informed of the women’s problems from the Northern part and she was also told about those people who could find a job or got a grant for opening their own business after being trained by PBN.
